SUIHAA organises two annual events on the International House calendar:

Calendarfest
February / March

Calendarfest is a great opportunity for former residents to welcome newcomers to International House each year by donating calendars for new residents to hang on their walls.

This unique way of welcoming residents and passing on memories has become an established part of the commencement of the House's year.

Belanglo Stargazing
2nd Semester

For many years, SUIHAA has assisted in maintaining and upgrading the much loved "Log Cabin" in the Belanglo State Forest south of Sydney.

Each year alumni join residents and members of a local astronomy group to take advantage of Belanglo's clear, dark skies. The event is scheduled over a weekend and is a great introduction to the peaceful getaway shared by so many residents over the years.

In 2006, this event was to have been over the weekend of 5th August, but inclement weather intervened and the event has had to be put off for a while. Further details may be obtained from the IH office or from info@suihaa.org.au.

AGM
November

SUIHAA's Annual General Meeting is held at the end of the year, normally in Sydney. All alumni are encouraged to attend.

Other Functions

Many other functions and events, including lectures, dinners, and informal social occasions are a part of SUIHAA's calendar.

SUIHAA members also actively participate in a wide variety of International House activities throughout the year, including International Night and other formal occasions.
